Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the wear of a punch hole and to improve its durability by forming the bottom part at least of the punch hole with sintered diamond.
CONSTITUTION: An embedded tip 2 is embedded by press-fitting or brazing into the lower end face of a forming punch body 1. A punch hole 3 is formed in the embedded tip 2. The whole periphery of the punch hole 3 is sometimes formed by sintered diamond, the part making the bottom part 4 is formed by sintered diamond and the peripheral side of the punch hole 3 is sometimes formed by tungusten carbide. At any rate, the part making the bottom part of the punch hole 3 is formed by sintered diamond to reduce the wear deformation of the punch hole.
