Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate pasting of a plurality of copied mathematical formula components.SOLUTION: A scientific calculator displays an input mathematical formula and a color chart 31. When a user specifies a mathematical formula component in the mathematical formula and a display color in the color chart 31, the specified mathematical formula component and color are associated with each other and stored in a per-color copy buffer. When the user specifies a color associated with a mathematical formula component and an input position from among display colors in the color chart 31, the mathematical formula component associated with the specified color in the per-color copy buffer is input at the specified position. The input mathematical formula component is displayed being identified with a corresponding color associated with the mathematical formula component in the per-color copy buffer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
