Abstract:
One compound (100) according to the present invention contains fine silicon particles having hydrogen generating capability, or an aggregate of the fine silicon particles. Since the fine silicon particles or the aggregate are capable of generating hydrogen, when the compound is ingested by, for example, an animal, hydrogen can be generated in the body of the animal. For plants, for example, by placing or adding the compound in water (water-containing liquid), a fertilizer, or the like to be given to a plant, hydrogen generated from the compound can be supplied to the plant.
