Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyurethane elastomer-made formwork for concrete which is excellent in durability against a high alkalinity at a high temperature in concrete hardening; a shuttering excellent in workability in its manufacture; and a composition for manufacturing the formwork.
SOLUTION: A formwork for concrete made of a polyurethane elastomer of which the hardness at 25°C after an immersion test in an aqueous alkali solution with a pH of 13 at 85°C for 10 days is 55-90 and the maintenance factor of tear strength is 80% or higher is provided, and so is a polyurethane elastomer composition used for manufacturing the formwork. Specifically, they are obtained by using an isocyanate-group-containing prepolymer, an active hydrogen compound, and if necessary a plasticizer.
