Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable the bidirectional or unidirectional transmission of signals by using a transformer with compact and simple configuration in the forward converter to insulate and transmit power through the above-mentioned transformer.
CONSTITUTION: A main reset circuit is composed of a reset coil NR1 of a transformer T1 for insulation, diode D1, Zener's diode ZD1 and capacitor C1, and a spare reset circuit equipped with switches SW1 and SW2 for signal transmission is constituted respectively. Corresponding to the ON/OFF state of the switches SW1 and SW2, a transformer reset path in the case of turning off a switching element Q is changed over, and signal voltages VS1 and VS2 are generated on primary and secondary sides.
