Abstract:

To simplify shift operation as much as possible and to improve durability through reduction of the occurrence of wear of a clutch disc in a case of constitution that a forward reverse shift device (a reverser) for a running vehicle is engaged and disengaged by a two-multidisc-form clutche.

A forward reverse shifting clutch for a running vehicle is provided with a clutch cam interlocking link 6 to maintain and interlock the other clutch cam 5R with a shift position OFF against the force of a clutch spring 2R when one clutch cam 5F is brought into an engagement position ON through the force of a clutch spring 2F throughout a portion between clutch cams 5F and 5R to operate the pressure plates 4F and 4R multidisc form forward clutch 3F and a reverse clutch 3R being friction transmittable pressed by clutch springs 2F and 2R worked in the axial direction of a clutch shaft 1.
