PURPOSE: To obtain a foul breath suppressing agent having excellent inhibitory effects on foul breath, maintaining the effects for a long time, having high safety, by using both a deodorizing active ingredient having chemically catching action on foul breath causing substances and propolis.
CONSTITUTION: A foul breath suppressing agent obtained by blending a deodorizing active ingredient having chemically catching action on foul breath causing substances (solvent extract of plant of the family Labiate such as rosemary, sage, thyme, spearmint or melissa are especially safe and preferably) with propolis or a solvent extract there of and more preferably fats and oils such as soybean lecithin or lard. The blending ratio of the deodorizing active ingredient by chemical catching action and propolis is preferably 100:1W1:100, especially 10:1 1:10 by weight ratio. The amount of the fats oils blended is 0.1W20wt.%, especially preferably 1W10wt.% based on sum of the foul breath suppressing agent.
