PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foundation for appliance installation of a deck bed roof, for preventing a load of the appliance from locally acting on crest parts of a steel deck.SOLUTION: A foundation 200 for appliance installation of a deck bed roof is installed on a deck bed roof 100 comprising a steel deck 10 consisting of crest planes 13a, 13b, bottom planes 14a, 14b, 14c, and inclined planes 15a, 15b, 15c,15d, a roof heat insulation material 91, and a roof waterproof sheet 92. The foundation 200 includes: a lower member 20 attached to the bottom plane 14b of the steel deck 10 immediately above a beam 90; an upper member 40 installed on the lower member 20 and penetrating through the roof heat insulation material 91 and the roof waterproof sheet 92; and a waterproof strengthening sheet 93 installed astride a part of the upper member 40 and a part of the roof waterproof sheet 92. Appliance installation means 47 is provided in an upper member 40.
