PURPOSE: To obtain a high tilting resistant force against a tilting force produced by transverse force, such as earthquake by building a pile-shaped body on a ground which forms the lower part of a continuous footing prior to the construction of the continuous footing.
CONSTITUTION: An excavation groove 2 is cut on a ground 1. Then, a shaft 12 is drilled with an auger 11 or the like from an excavation bottom 3 and concrete is placed in the shaft 12, thereby building a pile-shaped body 10. Cobbles 4 are spread on the excavation bottom of the excavation groove 2 around the pile-shaped body 10 and fastened. Then, concrete 5 is cast on the cobbles 4 where a continuous footing 6 is built up to loaded on the concrete 5. It is also acceptable to build up the pile-shaped body 10 prior to excavation work. The pile-shaped body 10 is driven into the ground 1, which makes it possible to obtain a high tilting resistant force and reduce the depth of the excavation groove 2 for that high force.
