Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground collapse detection system capable of highly accurately detecting ground collapse with deformation of a coated optical fiber.SOLUTION: A ground collapse detection system includes a light source part transmitting an optical signal to a coated optical fiber, a light reception part receiving the optical signal from the coated optical fiber, and an optical fiber cable 16 in which the coated optical fiber transmitting the optical signal is inserted into a metal pipe. The metal pipe has an easy deformation part 28 that is provided in a predetermined range in a longitudinal direction, and easily deforms the metal pipe beyond the predetermined range in a case of receiving external force. The ground collapse detection system detects ground collapse, from fluctuation of the optical signal of the coated optical fiber with deformation in the easy deformation part 28 of the metal pipe in ground collapse.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
