Title:
FOUNDATION EARTHQUAKE RESISTANCE FLOATING BUFFER METHOD OF SUPER HIGH RISED CHIMNEY CONSTRUCTION ON POOR SUBSOIL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH07238558
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make it possible to construct a super high-rised construction even on a position of a poor subsoil by taking advantage of stability of the hull of an atomic aircraft carrier and stability of an upper suspending column of the center in a multi-storied tower of a temple building for jet liquefaction in the case of the occurrence of an earthquake.

CONSTITUTION: A large number of foundation piles 3 are buried in a poor subsoil. The foundation of up and down double pan structure is set on the foundation piles 3, and an upper inside foundation 1 is positioned on the ground surface 16. Buffer thrusts 7 and 8 are monolithically fixed to the bottom and side of the upper inside foundation 1. The buffer thrusts 7 and 8 are constituted of a mixture of water or liquid and sand or grains and the same steel ball. A plurality of supplied buffers 11 are mounted to the circumference of the upper part of the upper inside foundation 1. Elevators are equally arranged to the center in the foundation 1. According to the constitution, in the case of the occurrence of an earthquake, amplitude can be greatly limited with time-slip caused by the foundation of up and down double pan-structure and with resistance against earthquake resistance and reaction. The elevator can provide restoring operation to a super high-rised construction with the same phenomenon as that of the suspension of the center column in a multi-stored tower.
