Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foundation ladder which can use an existing structure in a hold of a ship as it is, and to provide a system for inspecting the hold of the ship using the foundation ladder.SOLUTION: The foundation ladder 1 fixed by using a face of a frame F formed to extend on a sidewall surface of the hold A of the ship in a vertical direction includes: a ladder body; and a stopper unit 5 disposed in an upper part of the ladder body and expandable in a width direction of the ladder body. The stopper unit 5 has a roller which is engageable between the lower part of the face which is attached to each front end in an expandable direction and the sidewall surface.
