Title:
FOUNDATION STRUCTURE FOR DAMPING BUILDING VIBRATION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005207075
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a foundation structure for damping building vibration which is suitable for a building like a detached house and can be provided with a variety of coefficients of friction set to various values at a low cost.

The foundation structure for damping building vibration includes two kinds of dynamic friction damping mechanisms 50 and 60 provided between a ground side concrete foundation 30 and a house side concrete foundation 40 and a stopper mechanism 70. The dynamic friction damping mechanism 50 comprises a first plate 51 having a predetermined area provided to the ground side concrete foundation and a sliding mechanism 52 movable together with the house side concrete foundation along the first plate provided to the house side concrete foundation corresponding to the first plate. The dynamic friction damping mechanism 60 comprises a second plate 61 having a predetermined area provided to the ground side concrete foundation and a tumbling mechanism 62 movable together with the house side concrete foundation along the second plate provided to the house side concrete foundation corresponding to the second plate.
