To improve the bearing power of a foundation structure using a wall-like foundation of plane lattice shape.
A horizontal component of obliquely downward force applied to an outer peripheral wall 102 of the wall-like foundation 100 by building load applied to a region outside the outer peripheral wall 102 of the wall-like foundation 100 in a bottom slab 12 (a load transmission region) is applied to the outer peripheral wall 102. The outward deformation (opening in an outer direction) of a lower end 102A of the outer peripheral wall 102 of the wall-like foundation 100 associated with settlement is thereby suppressed to reduce bending stress generated to the outer peripheral wall 102 of the wall-like foundation 100 and tensile stress generated to a lattice wall 104 and an intersection part 105. Since the breakage of the wall-like foundation 100 associated with settlement is prevented, large bearing power is secured, and as a result, the bearing power of the wall-like foundation 100 is improved. Consequently, the bearing power of the foundation structure 10 using the wall-like foundation 100 is improved.
