Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a four-way selector valve using a valve body capable of changing-over a flow passage for preventing leakage of refrigerant by preventing a stick slip phenomenon at a seal part and improving durability.SOLUTION: A bottom surface of a valve body 10 is provided with a ball 10g and a protrusion 10i. During motion on a valve seat 11, the ball 10g rides over a valve seat sliding surface 11d to cause the valve body 10 to be inclined, the ball 10g and the protrusion 10i abut against the valve seat sliding surface 11d of the valve seat 11, a seal part 10f and the valve seat sliding surface 11d are spaced apart. Upon completion of the motion of the valve body 10, the ball 10g is stored in recesses 11e, 11f formed at the valve seat 11 to cause the valve body 10 to be set in its position, the valve body 10 becomes in horizontal to the valve seat sliding surface 11d of the valve seat 11 and the seal part 10f and the valve seat sliding surface 11d are closely contacted. Accordingly, the valve body 10, upon changing-over of flow passage for the refrigerant, shows that the seal part 10f and the valve seat sliding surface 11d are not worn out and upon completion of the changing-over operation, the seal part 10f and the valve seat sliding surface 11d are closely contacted and areas across the valve body 10 are set to air-tight state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
