Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily install more speed change stages with an automatic transmission organically combined with a center differential device and always provide torque distribution, differential, differential limit and torque distribution control functions by means of the center differential device in a drive system comprising the automatic transmission and the center differential device combined.
CONSTITUTION: A center differential device 50 is constituted so as to obtain a specified speed increase gear ratio due to the actuation of the speed change brake 63 of a hydraulic multiple disc clutch device 60 and a hydraulic multiple disc clutch 61 for transmission to install a one or two more speed change stages in the higher stage side than the speed change of an automatic transmission 30 by independently use this added speed increasing gear ratio or by combining with the specified gear ratio of the of a three speed automatic transmission 30 or a four speed automatic transmission 40.
