PURPOSE: To enable smooth turning in a double speed OFF condition by providing a limiting means for reducing the maximum steering limit of front wheels, and operating the limiting means to an angle reducing limit side being interlocked with the switching operation to a connection removing side between a front wheel speed change gear and a front wheel steering mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: In an agricultural tractor, the power of an engine is transmitted to a front wheel speed change gear 8 which can be switched over to a standard driving condition and an increased speed driving condition via the first and second power transmission gears 6, 7 of a rear wheel differential shaft 5. A portal restraining member 25 is supported vertically movably with respect to a pitman arm 21. When a shift lever 24 is operated to a double speed IN position, the restraining member 25 is lifted upward to enable the pitman arm 21 to be steered to the maximum steering limit θ2. When the shift lever 24 is operated to a double speed OFF position, the restraining member 25 is lowered, entering the operating track of the pitman arm 21 to reduce the maximum steering limit θ2 thereof down to θ1.
