Abstract:
PURPOSE:To save a space by arranging the first viscous clutch provided with the same function as a center differential device on an axle on the front wheel side or the rear wheel side adjacently to the second viscous clutch. CONSTITUTION:The first viscous clutch 42 absorbing the rotating speed difference between front and rear wheels is provided between a front wheel differential device 14 and a side gear 82. The second viscous clutch 44 transmitting the torque to the other wheel when one of the right and left front wheels becomes an idling condition is provided between the differential case 84 of the front wheel differential device 14 and a drive shaft 46. Thereby, the first viscous clutch 42 and the second viscous clutch 44 can be arranged in one chamber. Accordingly, the necessary space can be decreased by arranging two viscous clutches 42, 44 integrally on one axle.
