Title:
FOUR-WHEEL STEERING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS63112281
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable a tack-in phenomenon in the time of deceleration to be promptly further surely prevented, by providing a restricting means which inhibits steering ratio from being controlled in the reverse phase direction when a deceleration signal is received from a detecting means which detects a vehicle deceleration condition. CONSTITUTION:In accordance with an output of a car speed sensor 101, a number of reference operating steps of a stepping motor 50 in proportion to a car speed is calculated in a number of reference steps arithmetic part 102, and the reference steering ratio characteristic is obtained by actuating said motor 50. Here a deceleration condition decision part 118, which inputs an output signal from a brake sensor 117 detecting the acceleration of gravity in the longitudinal direction (longitudinal G) of a vehicle, is provided in a control unit 100. And when a deceleration condition is decided in said deceleration condition decision part 118, a control inhibition signal, which inhibits steering ratio from being controlled in the reverse phase direction, is output. In this way, a tack in phenomenon is promptly further surely prevented when deceleration is performed in the time of turning action.
