Abstract:
PURPOSE:To allow a separately furnished rear wheel power steering device to operate normally even when the front wheel power steering device goes in trouble by incorporating such a constitution that the rear wheel power steering device works through a cam device mechanically interlocked with steering of front wheels. CONSTITUTION:A pump 60 is divided into two minor pumps, a front wheel pump 60a and a rear wheel pump 60b. A certain amount of working fluid discharged from this pump 60a is supplied to a front wheel power steering device 10. The working fluid discharged in a certain amount, on the other hand, from the pump 60b is diverged by a divergent valve 61 in a specific proportion, one of which being supplied to a grooved mechanism 30 of a cam device 20 while the other to a rear wheel power steering device 40. The cam body 21 of this cam device 20 is borne by the car body as movable in the A direction in parallel with a steering angle shaft 15, and a nut 26 installed at the front of a protrusion 25 is fitted on a screw shaft 16. Thereby the cam body 21 can be reciprocative in the A direction interlocked with the steering angle for the front wheels.
