Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame communication network and an authentication server for forming a virtual network whereby a plurality of virtual networks can share radio terminators so as to improve the scalability of the number of contracted virtual networks.
SOLUTION: Radio terminators 5-1 to 6-2 transmit a user authentication request frame S0 via frame transfer apparatuses 7-1, 7-2 in response to a user authentication request from radio user terminals 1-1 to 4-2, the authentication server 8 extracts a virtual network identifier from the authentication request frame S0, a user information table 14, and a radio terminator identifier table 40 to decide the propriety of user authentication, and transmits the virtual network identifier to the frame transfer apparatuses 7-1, 7-2, and the frame transfer apparatuses 7-1, 7-2 assign the virtual network identifier to a user identifier or an interface port to which the radio terminators 5-1 to 6-2 are connected.
