A frame connection device 3 includes: first and second connection members 4, 5: and a joint means 6 for jointing by pressing the connection members in an axial direction. The first connection member 4 is provided with a tapered projection 4a whose sectional form in the axial direction is tapered. The sectional form in a direction orthogonal to the axial direction of the tapered projection 4a is a circular form at the proximal end of the tapered projection 4a, and is a flattened circular form at the tip end of the tapered projection 4a. The tapered projection 4a is inserted in the second connection member 5, and a tapered hole 5b in which the outer peripheral surface of the tapered projection 4a is jointed with the inner peripheral surface is provided in the second connection member.
