To obtain the subject composition with excellent flame retardancy, meeting the UL94 Standard V-2 in the drip at burning, also having high impact resistance.
This composition is obtained by incorporating 100 pts.wt. of a resin blend prepared by compounding (A) 1-100 pts.wt. of a graft copolymer produced by grafting a mixture of an aromatic vinyl monomer and a copolymerizable monomer in the presence of a rubbery polymer with (B) 0-99 pts.wt. of a copolymer from an aromatic vinyl monomer and a copolymerizable monomer, with (C) 1-35 pts.wt. of a flame retardant consisting of an organic halogen compound and/or organophosphorus compound; wherein the graft copolymer A satisfies the relationship: 0.26≤g×D×(m×Mw)1/2≤0.62 [m=(a+b)/{a-(a-b)×x}, (a) and (b) are the molecular weights of the aromatic vinyl monomer and the copolymerizable monomer, respectively; D is the weight- average particle size of the rubbery polymer; (g) is graft rate; Mw is the weight- average molecular weight of MEK solubles; (x) is the weight fraction of the aromatic vinyl monomer in the MEK solubles].
