PURPOSE: To provide a frame structure for an automobile opening/closing roof wherein the structure is very simple accordingly to make the cost reduceable by a degree of this simple structure and also to prevent a hood cloth from being interposed between frames.

CONSTITUTION: A frame structure for an automobile opening/closing roof is constituted by supporting a hood, cloth for coating a upper part, by a roof frame 18 constituted turnably in a vehicle longitudinal direction. Here, the roof frame 18 is constituted of a rear frame 24 turnably supported through a supporting pipe 33 having an axial line in a car width direction and a front frame 25 turnably supported about the axial line in the car width direction to the front end of the rear frame 24. Further, the roof frame provides a stopper arm 44 supported turnably about the axial line in the car width direction to the rear frame 34 and turned so as to almost vertically rise by an interposed angle part, constituted of the front/rear frames 25, 24, when the front frame 25 is turned.
