Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame transmission method without need of providing a large reception buffer.SOLUTION: At the reception side, based on first client signal accommodation information (MSI-α) on a first multiframe of an optical transmission network (OTN), a client signal is accommodated into the payload of a plurality of OTN frames in the first multiframe. Also, second client signal accommodation information on a second multiframe which is transmitted after the first multiframe is allocated to the overhead of the plurality of OTN frames of the first multiframe and transmitted. At the reception side, the first multiframe is received, so that second client signal accommodation information is generated from the overhead of the plurality of OTN frames which configure the first multiframe.
