Abstract:
PURPOSE: To allow more accurate measurement of the concentration of free ligand initially existing in a mixture of an object to be measured and a protein having a bond therewith under dynamic equilibrium.
CONSTITUTION: When an object to be measured, i.e., a ligand, and a protein having a bond therewith coexist in a specimen and bonding equilibrium is present between them, only the free ligand initially existing in the specimen is measured specifically. In this method, a substance having a bond with the object to be measured is added into the specimen while being fixed to an insoluble carrier thus finishing the reaction for measurement before it is affected by the object being fed from a bonded ligand.
