Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably operate a free piston engine generator regardless of control, on the basis of a position of a measured top dead center.SOLUTION: A free piston engine generator 10 has a piston 16 reciprocated in a cylinder 12. A permanent magnet 18 is disposed on the piston 16, and a coil 20 is disposed at a cylinder 12 side. A power control section c for controlling electric current flowing through the coil 20 is disposed on a part in a movable range s where the piston 16 is reciprocated. The electric current flowing through the coil is controlled so that a speed at a time when the piston 16 in a compression stroke passes through a top dead center side end point pof the power control section c becomes a burnable speed so that a temperature of a combustion chamber at a time when the piston reaches the top dead center becomes a combustible temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
