Abstract:
PURPOSE:To both enable an engine to perform low vibrative operation and form the engine in a compact size, by converting a reciprocating motion of a piston in a reciprocating piston engine into the rotary motion of an epitrochoidal rotary piston on an output shaft through non-compressive fluid. CONSTITUTION:When the invention is applied to a two-cycle Diesel engine oppositely arranging pistons, the engine, fitting to a cylinder housing 10 two cylinders 12a, 12b communicating with a preliminary combustion chamber respectively providing a fuel injection valve, fits each mutually opposed free piston 11a, 11b and 11c, 11d to be mounted in each cylinder 12a, 12b. The housing 10 continuously connects with its bottom part an output part housing 30 having cylinders 30a, 30b fitting a piston part 11b'', 11d'' to be mounted. And the engine, providing in the output part housing 30 an epitrochoidal rotary piston 33a to be fitted to an output shaft 31, turns the piston 33a by the pressure of oil supplied to left and right working oil chambers 34a, 34b.
