Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a free piston type generator capable of preventing damage even when a piston collides with a cylinder in consideration of that combustion pressure becomes excessive when abnormal combustion of a combustion chamber occurs, and the piston collides with a wall surface of the cylinder, and it leads to a possibility of causing damage in the free piston type generator.SOLUTION: A buffer member 44 is provided on at least one of an end surface 14a of a piston 14 facing an air chamber 18 and a wall surface 18a of the air chamber 18 facing the end surface 14a.
