Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the total thermal efficiency by introducing the exhaust gas of a free piston type gas turbine into an exhaust gas turbine and connecting the output shaft of the exhaust gas turbine with the output shaft of the main gas turbine.
CONSTITUTION: The exhaust gas supplied from a free piston-type gas turbine body 1 is introduced into an exhaust gas turbine 4 through an exhaust pipe 3 and a conduit 6. The output shaft 12 of the exhaust gas turbine 4 and the output shaft 2' of the main gas turbine 1 are connected through a toothed belt 14, and the output of the exhaust gas turbine is transmitted to the main turbine and recovered. Thus, the total thermal efficiency can be improved.
