Abstract:
To provide a door hinge closer having a main coil spring and an auxiliary coil spring, enabling a free stop. A door hinge (100) in which a first coil spring (130) is set in a first cylindrical body (110), and a second coil spring (134) is set in a second cylindrical body (220), includes first and second clutch mechanisms for setting and releasing rotational energization force of the respective coil springs. The first clutch mechanism locks a first spring locking member (170) having the other end of the first coil spring locked thereto to a shaft (150) when a relative rotation position between the first cylindrical body and the second cylindrical body is smaller than a first rotation position, and locks the member to the second cylindrical body when being larger than the first rotation position. The second clutch mechanism locks a second spring locking member (190) having one end of the second coil spring locked thereto to the second cylindrical body when the relative rotation position is smaller than a second rotation position, and locks the member to the shaft when being larger than the second rotation position.
