Abstract:
To provide a novel and compact free type bidirectional clutch having excellent responsiveness in power transmission because backlash is small when rotation is transmitted from an input shaft (4) to an output shaft (6).SOLUTION: A intermediate gear (66) is provided between an output gear (44) and an actuation gear (68). In an actuation gear body (12), a projection part (70) is provided, which projects in an axis direction and of which an outer periphery of a cross sectional shape is a circular. On an input shaft, a space part (34) is provided, into which the projection part of the actuation gear body is inserted. At an edge part of the space part, a cam surface (36) is formed, wherein a distance between itself and an outer peripheral surface of the projection part varies from a circumferential center toward both sides in a circumferential direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
