Abstract:
To provide a long-life free type bidirectional clutch capable idling an output shaft bidirectionally while holding a position where an input shaft is stopped.SOLUTION: A disc-shaped cam body 43 eccentric to a center of a planetary gear 41 is fixed, and a space part 23 having a circular cross section into which the cam body 43 is inserted is provided on an input shaft 2. When the input shaft 2 rotates and the cam body 43 comes into contact with the input shaft 2 in a predetermined posture in the space part 23, a planetary gear body 4 is prevented from auto-rotating, and therefore, the planetary gear 41 is integrated with an output gear and rotates around a common rotational shaft, so that the rotation is transmitted from the input shaft 2 to an output shaft 3, on the other hand, when the output shaft 3 rotates, the cam body 43 idles in the space part 23 to make the planetary gear body 4 auto-rotate and block the transmission of the rotation from the output shaft 3 to the input shaft 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
