Abstract:
To improve an operating rate of a system 1 of producing a freeze dried formulation, by decontaminating sterile chambers R7A to R7D each provided with transfer devices M6A to M6D respectively, regardless of the operating conditions of freeze dryers 4A to 4D.SOLUTION: The system of producing a freeze dried formulation, comprises a plurality of freeze dryers 4A to 4D for freeze-drying a liquid chemical present in a plurality of containers 2, and a plurality of transfer devices M6A to M6D each transferring containers 2 to and from a drying chamber 5 of each of the freeze dryers, which are disposed in series in the direction of transferring the containers. A plurality of heat insulation chambers 11A to 11D are each disposed between sterile chambers R7A to R7D each provided with the transfer device, and the freeze drying chambers 5 respectively, to communicate with both the sterile chambers and the freeze drying chambers, and shutter means 14, 15 are provided to open/close the respective communication therebetween. Since temperature variations in first shutter means 14 can be suppressed by virtue of a heat insulation space present in each of the heat insulation chambers even when the temperature of second shutter means 15 gets high or low according to the operating condition of the freeze dryer, each of the sterile chambers R7A to R7D can be sterilized without being adversely influenced by the temperature variations.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
