Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a freeze-dried injection containing a quinolone-carboxylic acid antibacterial agent, stable to light or heat and having excellent solubility.

CONSTITUTION: A compound of formula I [R1 is cycloalkyl, alkyl, alkenyl, alkylamino, phenyl, etc.; R2 is H, halogen, NO2 or NH2; X1 is halogen; Y is N or CX2 (X2 is H, halogen, alkyl, etc.); Z is group of formula II (n is 1 or 2; R3 is H or alkyl; R4 and R5 are R3, aminoalkyl, phenyl, etc.) or formula III (k is 0 or 1; l is 0W2; R6 is R3, halogen, etc.; R7 is R3, haloalkyl, etc.; R8 is R3)] is dissolved in a proper acid, base or water (the concentration of the compound is preferably 5W15W/V%). The obtained solution is subjected to aseptic filtration with a membrane filter, dispensed to a vial and cooled to ≤-40°C. The frozen solution is dried by heating under reduced pressure accord ing to conventional process and sealed to obtain the objective freeze-dried injec tion.
