Abstract:

To provide a freeze dry container which is inexpensively produced, is not easily broken, is provided with a superior gas barrier characteristic and a heat transfer characteristic during freeze dry, and eliminates the need for separate disposal after use, and also to provide a manufacturing method of the container.

This freeze dry container 10 is provided with: a metal container body 11 where a freeze dry article is stored; and a metal plug 21 fitted in the body 11. A metal layer 12 made of any one of aluminum, iron, magnesium and copper is formed with no joint wholly on the body 11. A metal layer 22 made of any one of aluminum, iron, magnesium and copper is formed with no joint wholly on the plug 21.
