Abstract:
To provide a technology enabling defrosting operation with high energy efficiency in a freezer using air as a refrigerant.SOLUTION: A freezer 100 includes: a main circuit 10 that has a compressor 1, a first heat exchanger 2, a high-pressure portion 31, an expander 4, a first connecting portion 51, a second connecting portion 52, and a low-pressure portion 32, is configured so that a refrigerant flows through these elements in this order, and is provided with a second heat exchanger 3 performing heat exchange between a refrigerant flowing in the high-pressure portion 31 and a refrigerant flowing in the low-pressure portion 32; and a first bypass path 6 that bypasses a freezing storage 5 to be connected to the first connecting portion 51 and the second connecting portion 52. The refrigerant is air. In the freezer 100, during defrosting operation, the cooling heating value of the refrigerant in the first heat exchanger 2 is reduced, and the refrigerant is flown to the first bypass path 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
