Abstract:
To provide a refrigerator-freezer which suppresses unevenness in temperature increase of the entire evaporator by transferring the heat of a defrosting heater to evaporator inlet piping, and which reduces power consumption of a defrosting operation.SOLUTION: By condensation latent heat of a refrigerant which is accumulated in a liquid state at a lower part of an evaporator 5 during a defrosting operation, which has vaporised by the heat of a defrosting heater 6 and which has been heating outlet side piping, inlet piping of the evaporator 5, which was difficult to heat before, can be heated, by the inlet piping and the outlet piping of the evaporator 5 bing thermally coupled as a second thermal coupling part. Thus, temperature unevenness in the entire evaporator 5 can be suppressed during defrosting, and consumption power of the defrosting heater 6 can be reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
