PURPOSE: To obtain a sealing structure for a freezing chamber which utilizes freezing or the coagulation of water by arranging load bearing surfaces on the part of a lower side sealing surface and a part of an upper side sealing surface, and contact the load bearing surfaces in forming sealed state to contact between themselves.
CONSTITUTION: Pouring liquid in a liquid-receiving cavity 6 and placing the insulated cover member 11 of a tunnel shaped freezing chamber on a base insulating member 10, the load bearing surfaces 13, 14 are caused to contact seating a tongue formed part 5 of the upper sealing surface 4 in the recessed groove part 3 of the lower sealing surface 2. Then, the temperature of the freezing chamber is dropped below the freezing point of the liquid in the liquid receiving cavity 6. Therefore, the liquid inside the liquid receiving cavity 6 is cause to freeze or congeal to expand, and the sealed state insulated from the outer atmosphere an be formed.
