Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the freezing performance.
SOLUTION: A storage chamber 30 of a washing tray 31 is opened to the front and formed as a recess on the mounting surface of a condenser 18 on a unit base 15 disposed on the bottom of a machine room 11. The top of the storage chamber 30 is closed with a lower closing board 35 during the operation. The outside air for cooling, drawn by a condenser fan 19, is efficiently applied to the condenser 18 without escaping toward the storage chamber 30, so that the condensing performance as well as the freezing performance can be improved. In washing, the lower closing board 35 is removed, and instead, the washing tray 31 is inserted into the storage chamber 30. The removed lower closing board 35 is inserted into an insertion groove 49 on the rear surface of the condenser 18. Washing water is sprayed to the condenser 18 to be washed, the used washing water is reserved in the washing tray 35 and drained. During the time, as the lower closing board 35 is inserted into the rear surface of the condenser 8, the sprayed washing water is prevented from splashing toward the condenser fan 19, a compressor 17, etc.
