Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a freezing device where precipitation of scale on a surface of an outside-air-side heat exchanger is prevented, the outside-air-side heat exchanger can be miniaturized with little reduction of heat transfer performance by the scale, scale removal work is not required in maintenance, and maintenance and inspection are easy.
SOLUTION: A cooling air passage 2 of the outside-air-side heat exchanger 5 is constituted in a shape capable of accumulating water in the passage. The freezing device has a water pouring means 19 for supplying water into the air passage and a draining means 17 for discharging the water in the air passage. In a cooling operation, water for cooling is sprayed to the heat exchanger 5, and the sprayed water is discharged by the draining means. When the cooling operation is stopped, the draining means is closed, the water is accumulated in the air passage by the water pouring means, and the entire heat exchanger 5 is dipped in the water.
