Title:
FREEZING REFRIGERATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06147715
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent a vegetable chamber from being overcooled by forcedly circulating cold air in a refrigerator when an electric motor driven damper gets an open state in the course of operation interruption of a compressor for refrigerant compression.

CONSTITUTION: When an electric motor driven damper 10 for opening/closing a cold air passage from a freezing chamber 1 to a refrigerator chamber 2 gets an open state in the course of operation interruption of a compressor 6 for refrigerant compression, an in-refrigerator fan 8a is operated to forcedly circulate cold air in the refrigerator. Accordingly, even when operation of the compressor 6 is interrupted and the electric motor driven damper 10 is opened, the cold air from a suction duct 18a being a cold air return duct of a vegetable chamber 3 is prevented from being reversely driven. For this, minus temperature cold air stored in a condenser chamber 7 is properly circulated in the refrigerator and is prevented from flowing into the vegetable chamber 3. Hereby, the vegetable chamber 3 is prevented from being overcooled.
