Abstract:
To provide a spring device with shaft rubbers for a freight car which prevents shaft rubber deterioration and constantly absorbs vibrations in an empty condition as well as a loaded condition.SOLUTION: A spring device for a freight car which is a spring device for a freight car used in a primary suspension supported by a journal box of the freight car and supporting a truck frame of the freight car or in a secondary suspension supported by the truck frame of the freight car and supporting a bodywork of the freight car, comprises a first rubber arranged on a seating face installed in the freight car, a rigid plate installed on an upper face of the first rubber and transferring a vertical load to the first rubber, a second rubber arranged on an upper face of the rigid plate and a regulating member which regulates transferring of the vertical load to the first rubber when the vertical load equal to or more than a subscribed value is loaded. The first and the second rubbers are loaded with a vertical load both in a loaded condition where freights are carried and in empty condition where freights are not carried.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
