PURPOSE: To suitably perform an optical analog signal transmission by compensating the disturbance of a frequency characteristic of an input signal at photodetection section caused by reflected light at the end of optical fiber with the same circuit independently of the length of an optical fiber.
CONSTITUTION: A frequency characteristic compensating circuit introduces an optical signal from a optical transmitter 1 toward the arrowed directions (a) and (a') with a photocoupler 2 at first, the reflected light from an optical fiber end 26 is changed to the arrowed directions (b) and (b') shown in broken lines and inputted to a photodetector 4 and converted into an electric signal, and then inputted to a non-inverting input terminal of an operational amplifier 11 through a variable adjusting resistor 16. The section 1 makes operation between an input signal applied to a non-inverting input terminal of the operational amplifier 11 and a signal inputted to the said inverting input terminal, and converts the result into an optical signal with a light emitting element 13 via a driving circuit 12 and transmits the signal to the photocoupler 2.
