Title:
FREQUENCY CONVERTER FOR TWO-WAY CATV SYSTEM AND IN-HOUSE TRANSMISSION SYSTEM FOR MULTIPLE DWELLING HOUSE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3458360
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a 2-way cable television CATV system for complex housing where noise superimposed on an incoming signal is hardly transmitted.
SOLUTION: A frequency twice that of a pilot signal (frequency 451.25 MHz) sent from a head end is used for a local oscillation signal frequency for an up-converter 20 that converts an incoming signal (10-50 MHz) of a modem 13d into a high frequency by using a frequency converter and a down-converter 10 that converts a high frequency for in-house transmission into a low frequency so as to match an incoming signal band (usually 10-50 MHz) of a CATV main line from in-house transmission in this frequency converter to convert the frequency in the transmission system where a high frequency band (650 MHz or over) with less confluent noise is used for an incoming signal frequency band of an incoming signal in a complex housing building.
