Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the transmission characteristic, and to simultaneously transmit plural symbol groups by the same frequency by encoding and transimitting chips obtainded by dividing each symbol.
CONSTITUTION: An encoder 11 of a transmitting equipment 1 outputs K pieces of encoded chip signals per one symbol by dividing each symbol of an input symbol group into plural chips and encoding its chip train, and an orthogonal modulator 12 modules K kinds of carrier frequencies, respectively by this encoded chip signal and generates K pieces of chip modulated waves per one symbol, and its output passes through a band pass filter 15 and is transmitted. A mixer 21, a frequency synthesizer 22, a frequency control circuit 23, a band pass filter 24 and an IQ detector 25 being sub-synchronization detecting means of a receiving equipment 2 detect K pieces of chip modulated waves per one symbol by K pieces of local frequencies, respectively, K pieces of complex envelope eignals are extracted, and a demodulating circuit 26 decides and demodulates a transmitting symbol from this complex envelope signal.
