Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frequency divider circuit capable of achieving a circuit with a small number of constituent elements.SOLUTION: A frequency divider circuit includes: a mode selection part in which, in a first operation mode, the exclusive-OR of a first clock signal and a first signal is obtained to be outputted as a second signal, and in a second operation mode, the first clock signal is outputted as the second signal; and a clock generating part in which, based on the second signal and a second clock signal, the second clock signal is generated and outputted, and the second clock signal or a third clock signal having the same phase as the second clock signal is outputted as the first signal.
