Abstract:

PURPOSE: To perform cost reduction by attaining minaturization and non- adjustment by easily performing frequency division down to the first decimal place.

CONSTITUTION: Reset is applied to a frequency divider circuit 1 to which the reset is applied by the output of a frequency divider circuit 2. The frequency divider circuit 2 is the one with output pulse width narrower than that of the frequency divider circuit 1. Assuming an input frequency as F and an output frequency as (f), f=F/(mn/10) can be obtained as output in the mn/10-frequency division of the input frequency F by setting X, Y at X={(mn/10)-(n/10)}+1[integer], and Y=mn. (Where, frequency dividion ratio=mn/10, m>2 [integer], 1≤n≤9 [integer]).
