Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frequency filter with a steep attenuation characteristic to attenuate an adjacent channel or an adjacent channel thereto with a simple configuration required to receive VHF and UHF broadcast programs.
SOLUTION: A hole is made on a printed circuit board 1, one terminal 4 of a coil is inserted to the hole so that the tip of the terminal appears on the surface of the printed circuit board, a metallic piece 11 is arranged on the front side of the printed circuit board with a clearance from the terminal to form a capacitor consisting of the coil terminal and the metallic piece with the air gap between them having a high Q and the capacitor and the coil are used in combination for the filter.
