PURPOSE: To generate purified water continously by passing raw water through a diaphragm on the basis of the synergistic effect between the pressure of the raw water and electric penetration, and thus obtaining a small-sized, lightweight fresh water generator of simple constitution at low cost.
CONSTITUTION: When running water is supplied from an introduction pipe 3 to an external tank 2 until the tank 2 becomes nearly full, the running water is transported into an internal tank 6 through a diaphragm 7 according to the water pressure. When the water level in the internal tank 6 rises above the contacting point with a cathode rod 9, a current with a prescribed voltage is flowed between the cathode rod 9 and an anode plate 8 to add electric penetration operation. Then, the water in the tank 2 penetrates the diaphragm 7 and is transport-ed into the tank 6 at an increasing speed to be reserved as purified water in the tank 6, and it is led out through a discharge pipe 10. As the diaphragm 7 deteriorates after being used for a long period, the tank 6 is taken out and the whole of the diaphragm 7 is replaced.
